Sign of the Beaver

A boy went with his dad and built a cabin in the middle of nowhere. His dad told him to stay while he went to get the rest of the family. The boy is only 12 years old. He meets an Indian tribe who grows to loved him. In the end, he has a choice to make, should be stay for his family that hasn't come for a year or go with the Indians to a new land.The story was full of excitement and cool gadgets he made out of nature. There was always daring adventures. I recommend this book for kids 10 years and older. It helps you learn about Indian culture and what life use to be like in pioneer days.
